Adabel Guerrero’s Battle with Lipomas: Her Journey to Recovery and Return to Stage

Adabel Guerrero is a resilient woman and with her partner Martín Lamela she managed to form the family she always dreamed of: together they have little Lola, who is now 5 years old. Invited to Cortá por Lozano, the Telefe cycle, the dancer revealed that she recently had to go through a health problem that led her to the operating room for surgery and that for this reason she had to stop participating in Sex, the play directed by José María Muscari.

As a result of the winter holidays and the school break, Adabel is spending more time with her daughter, but also because she had to stop working for two weeks as a result of a problem with her buttocks.

“Lola turned 5 in April and she is very embarrassing, but hey, it will pass. Her father continues to work and I have to take care of her, but luckily we divide her tasks well. I was not working for two weeks but now I am going back to Sex ”, she began by telling the dancer. She immediately told her what happened to her. “I had to take 15 days off work because I had surgery on some lipomas that I had on my buttock. Lipomas are like balls of fat that form on you and I had to remove them because they grew, grew and grew and I already had like two tennis balls, ”she recounted.

Later, Adabel explained that she still has the bandages on the surgery site, but that she still plans to return to the stage. “I have the bandages there, but I’m going to perform with bandages and everything, well know how to apologize,” she said ironically regarding her recovery. Later, she said that she did not have any type of symptoms in terms of discomfort in the body as a result of this health problem. “It didn’t hurt at all and it had been regarding three years since I had to have surgery but I didn’t want to go through the operating room and stop working and everything that implies, but well it was time because the right moment had come that Valeria Archimó might replace me in Sex, that I might do it calmly and without guilt for leaving the play, then the producer of the play told me ‘why don’t you take advantage and have surgery, you take two weeks, and the truth is that it hurt me to think that I was not going to go to work, but it was a bit good for me, because I relaxed ”, he highlighted.

However, despite the experience that the vedette has on stage, she confessed that she is a little nervous regarding getting on stage once more. “I come back with more desire but also with a little fear, because following three weeks of doing physical activity, then you come back with a little fear, like everyone is in the whirlwind of performances and I am at a different pace,” he confessed.

“I think that until the day I die I’m going to have that stage fright of going on stage the same, I don’t know if it’s because of the self-demand that I have or what, but well I also think it’s good to have it,” he said in a talk with the rest of the program members. Immediately followingwards, the guest was given a surprise. They passed a videotape of his professional life, from its beginnings. Then, Adabel remembered that she began studying dance at the age of 8 when her mother took her for the first time and that she finished at 18.
