Ad Hoc Judges should be appointed, Constitution also allows it, Law Minister – Pakistan

Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar while speaking on Aaj News program on Wednesday said that ad-hoc judges should be appointed, the constitution allows the appointment of ad-hoc judges.

Azam Nazir Tarar further said that Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will not appoint ad hoc judges, but the Judicial Commission of Pakistan has to decide, in favor of the constitutional amendment to reform the judicial system.

He said that the commission includes 5 senior judges of the Supreme Court, and it also includes a retired judge, Justice Manzoor Malik, who has been appointed by these 5 judges, while it includes Pakistan Bar Council representative Akhtar Hussain, Minister Law and the Attorney General also sit.
