American pop star Madonna, 64, left the hospital where she spent several days in the intensive care unit, following suffering from an “acute bacterial infection,” which prompted her to postpone her tour in North America and Europe, according to a source close to the singer Thursday, confirming She said she was “feeling better”, without mentioning when she was discharged from the hospital.

And her manager, Guy Oseary, said on Wednesday that Madonna had a “serious” infection last Saturday, which required her hospitalization and placement in the intensive care unit, indicating that the singer “is improving and is expected to recover completely.”

On Wednesday, Osiri announced the postponement of Madonna’s “The Celebration Tour”, which was scheduled to run between July and December in North America and Europe. Her first concert was supposed to be in Vancouver (western Canada) on July 15.

Tickets for her 35 concerts, which were supposed to start from Vancouver, then Las Vegas, passing through several cities in North America (Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal…) have almost completely sold out. Madonna was scheduled to complete this concert tour in Europe in October, with expected stops in London, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona and Amsterdam, to conclude on the first of December.
