**Interview with Naima Butt: Big Hair, Big Dreams, and Life in Showbiz**
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Naima. It’s always a pleasure to speak with an artist who has such a unique journey. Let’s dive right in—your character Rabab in ‘Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum’ received quite a fan following, and your hairstyle became a trendsetter. How do you feel about the influence you’ve had on other actors in the industry?
**Naima Butt:** Thank you for having me! It’s funny how my big hair sparked something in other showbiz personalities. It was never my intention to start a trend, but I love that people felt inspired by it. Hair has a way of expressing one’s personality, and I guess mine resonated with many!
**Editor:** On to your career—it’s interesting to note that while you’ve done less work in Pakistan, you have a significant background in acting in America. What inspired you to pursue this path?
**Naima Butt:** I’ve always had a passion for acting, even though my family has a strong medical background. I initially received my medical education, but the call of the stage was too strong. I moved to America to follow my dream, and thankfully, I managed to secure a scholarship to study acting and theater. That opened many doors for me, and I’ve enjoyed every moment of my journey that included theater work and collaborating with the UN.
**Editor:** That’s incredible! Your dedication to your craft is evident. Now, shifting gears a bit—can you tell us about your current relationship status? It seems you have plenty of admirers but you’re not actively seeking a relationship.
**Naima Butt:** (laughs) That’s true! I am currently single, but I wouldn’t say that I am available for anything right now. I’m focused on my career and personal growth. Relationships can be beautiful, but I believe it’s essential to have that space for oneself first.
**Editor:** Wise words! Your mother played a crucial role in your decision to act in Pakistan after a long period abroad. What did her support mean to you?
**Naima Butt:** It meant everything! My mother took ten years to finally support my decision to act here, as she wanted me to stay in America. But eventually, she recognized my passion and saw what acting brought to my life. Her approval meant that I could finally integrate my two worlds—my roots in Pakistan and my experiences in America.
**Editor:** It sounds like you have a strong family foundation supporting your artistic pursuits. Before we wrap up, is there anything you hope to achieve next in your career?
**Naima Butt:** Absolutely! I want to explore more diverse roles, perhaps even in international projects, and I also hope to continue using my platform for social causes I care about. The arts have such a powerful voice, and I want to maximize that potential in my work.
**Editor:** We look forward to seeing your evolution as an artist. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, Naima.
**Naima Butt:** Thank you for having me! It’s been a pleasure.
