Video: Actress Mona Abdel-Ghani presents a duet with singer Naccache
The artist, Mona Abdel-Ghani, and the presenter, Iman Ezz El-Din, hosted the young Ahmed Salem, the owner of the circulating video, singing while performing his work as “Naqash”, on the “Six Women Don’t Know They Lie” program, via a channel. cbc
Salem talked regarding his beginnings in singing, the spread of talent in his family, and why he was late in paying attention to his talent until now, explaining that his life circumstances did not allow him to study and pay attention to music, and due to his preoccupation with his work, it was no more than a hobby that he loves and hums during his work times.
During the episode, Salem presented many songs, whether by Warda or Umm Kulthum.
He also performed a duet with Mona Abdel-Ghani in the meeting, where they sang together the song “Wasfouli Al-Sabr” by Umm Kulthum, amid a great interaction from those in the studio.
In a telephone interview, the poet Amr Hassan praised Ahmed Salem’s talent, explaining that he is not just a good singer, but rather an expression of the voice and identity of Egypt, adding: “These real great voices have great instinct, and if you study, you will reach far beyond that.. There are thousands Talents like Ahmed need to be highlighted, perhaps they are a glimmer of hope for an improvement in public taste.”
