American actress Amy Schumer criticized unnamed celebrities who say they secretly take “Ozbek” medicine to lose weight, in an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
And “Uzbek” is one of the trade names for the generic drug “Simaglutide”. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the use of “Uzumbek” for diabetes. Schumer said she tried Ozbek, but stopped using the drug because of the side effects.
