Actor Huang Shrimp dies at 76, starred in “Mr. Zombie”
China News Service, March 29. According to Taiwan’s Dongsen News Cloud report, actor Huang Shrimp, who played “Master Ren” in “Mr. Zombie”, passed away on the 28th at the age of 76.

Huang Shrimp (Huang Ha, Huang Jingyang) is a member of the Hong family. He is often seen in martial arts, ghosts, and action films. The most well-known to Taiwanese audiences is the role of Mr. Ren in “Mr. Zombie” starring Lin Zhengying.
Although not the protagonist, Huang Shrimp’s acting skills are quite good, and various difficult movements are also very flexible. He has also performed in films such as “Qi Men Dun Jia” and “Ghost Fighting Ghosts”. According to reports, Huang Shrimp suffered a stroke in 2019 and was hospitalized. Later, he moved into a nursing home and was unable to contact anyone for a while. After friends searched for people, he finally found someone, but he needed a wheelchair to move around due to knee disease.
