Actor Benoit Dagenais has died

Actor Benoit Dagenais, known for his roles in Fortier, Daisy Flying, and They will, passed away suddenly at the age of 71.

He passed away on June 27, as reported by the Eugénie Gaillard Agency on Tuesday, without specifying the cause of his death.

Benoît Dagenais taught at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal from 1993, the same place where he earned his acting diploma in 1977. He later served as the director of this institution from 2012 to 2023, all while continuing his acting career on stage, television, and in film.
