The police confirmed the incident on Saturday morning upon request. The activists, aged 21 and 55, also held up a banner, the police said. The State Criminal Police Office is investigating.
According to climate activists from the group “Last Generation”, the vehicle symbolizes “the way the super-rich deal with global warming”. The US electric car manufacturer Tesla is currently presenting its futuristic “Cybertruck” in Germany. The 3.1-ton and 5.68-meter-long vehicle is not yet registered in Europe.
