On August 4th, Activision Blizzard Japan released the Season 3 battle pass, daily events and limited-time event details in “Diablo Immortal”.
■ Future content update cycle
The current schedule is for Diablo Immortal to release new content every two weeks, which can be either mini-updates or major updates.
Mini-updates add new content such as battle pass seasons, in-game events, and feature updates. Major updates add new gameplay elements, free story content, in-game events, and more.
It doesn’t mean that it will only be released as a mini update or a major update once every two weeks, but it may be released immediately when the quality is secured and it can be released.
Bug fixes and usability updates will continue to be announced on all platforms and PC-specific blogs.
We communicated this update cadence to increase transparency for the Diablo Immortal community, and at the same time to let everyone know regarding the content release cadence following the official release.
■ Season 3 Battle Pass: Incarnation of Justice
A new battle pass with the theme of sublimating into the incarnation of justice will be released, and Season 3 will begin on August 4th at 19:00 Japan time.
The Incarnation of Justice Battle Pass features 40 ranks worth of challenges and rewards, including legendary gems, crests, patterns and more.
If you want to earn additional treasures from your Battle Pass ranks, there are two paid versions of Battle Pass upgrades available throughout the season: Enhanced Battle Pass and Enhanced Collector’s Edition Battle Pass.
Enhanced Battle Pass In addition to the rewards for all ranks of the regular free Battle Pass, additional rewards exclusive to the enhanced version of each rank are unlocked.
In addition, you will receive the radiant Weapon of Justice cosmetic, which unlocks at Rank 1, and the dazzling Armor of Justice, which unlocks at Rank 40. Collector’s Edition Enhanced Battle Pass Get rewards for all ranks and Enhanced Battle Pass cosmetics.
Plus, immediately upon upgrade, you’ll receive the avatar frame “Incarnation of Justice”, the cosmetic “Portal”, and a 10 rank boost. The Season 3 Battle Pass is available for a limited time until September 1st (Thursday) 18:59 Japan time.
■ Daily Event “Invasion of Rathbone”
Starting at 12:00 GMT each day, fearless adventurers can join forces with their allies to defeat an army of bloodthirsty demonic elites. When Hell’s minions are unable to invade the zone they are attacking, Gorgothra arrives in person to complete the invasion, sending forth powerful echoes of his own to eliminate any resistance.
Those who display tremendous power and resist Rathbone’s desire to rule the zone will be rewarded with fancy gear, with the top three players who dealt the most damage earning an additional six rewards. Receive enchanted dust.
Rathbone raids can only be completed once per day, and additional rathbone raids begin when they are spotted by the Helicari of Reyok.
Hungry Moon Limited Time Event Fulfill the Moon’s demands to earn Moon Shards and exchange them for Blessings. Acquire seven blessings and you’ve done good deeds to the Moon, which you can redeem for his random rewards like Enchanted Dust, Glowing Sword Shards, and Legendary gear.
If the Moon has bestowed upon you enough of its blessings, you will receive a bundle containing a Legendary Crest. Adventurers can embark on a journey to satisfy the lunar hunger from 19:00 on August 12th to 19:00 on August 15th.
