Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain has said that Saudi Arabia i Hajj Strict action will be taken against beggars and drug carriers.

In response to a question about the Hajj policy, he further said that a quota of 5,000 pilgrims has been set for overseas Pakistanis, efforts will be made to increase this quota further.
The federal minister said that arrangements are being made for the Hajj and efforts are being made to send such assistants who have mastered the Arabic language to guide the pilgrims.

Salik Hussain said that ‘for the private and government schemes, the quota is 50 and 50 percent, and priority should be given to the first-time Hajj pilgrims.’
The Federal Minister said that the Cabinet approved the Hajj Policy 2025 on the recommendation of the Ministry of Religious Affairs last Tuesday, according to which Pakistan’s Hajj quota will be 179 thousand 210 next year.

The federal minister said that the Hajj group organizers will sign a service provider agreement with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which will be strictly monitored by the government.
He said that this time a new post of nazim has been appointed to supervise the provision of better facilities to pilgrims and one nazim will be appointed for every 100 pilgrims.
The federal minister said that the compensation for the families of the pilgrims who died on the holy land has been increased from 1 million rupees to 2 million rupees, while the injured will be compensated 1 million rupees.
