THE CHAIRMAN of the Golkar Party DPP, Ace Hasan Syadzily, is targeting that in the next two days, namely on August 13, 2024, he will hold a plenary meeting to determine the Acting General Chairman of Golkar.
“The Golkar DPP must immediately take steps and it was mentioned earlier that in the plenary forum it will be determined who the Acting General Chairperson will be who will carry out the duties of the General Chairperson until the 2024 National Conference,” explained Ace at the Golkar DPP office, Jakarta, Sunday (11/8).
“The process of implementing the National Conference is also based on the needs of the organization because we know that ahead of us there will be regional head elections that require definitive leadership,” he added.
Ace claims that Golkar is experienced in dealing with various conditions and will certainly prioritize regulations according to the Articles of Association.
Ace also emphasized that the Golkar DPP respects Airlangga Hartarto’s personal decision to resign as General Chairman of the Golkar Party.
Ace asked all Golkar cadres to maintain conduciveness and solidarity as well as a conducive atmosphere in the Golkar party.
Meanwhile, Airlangga officially resigned from the position of General Chairman of the Golkar Party since Saturday night, August 10, 2024. The decision was taken after careful consideration and to maintain the integrity of the Golkar Party. (P-5)
