Achieving Peace and Stability in Yemen: Tripartite Meeting between the US, UAE, and Saudi Arabia

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The foreign ministers of America, the Emirates, and Saudi Arabia met in New York and discussed the necessity of reaching a solution to the conflict in Yemen and other priority topics, according to what US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said.

Blinken previously wrote on his page on Twitter: “A fruitful meeting today with Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.”

The US Secretary of State added, “We discussed the urgent need for a permanent solution to the conflict in Yemen, and other priorities.”

Blinken concluded by saying: “Coordination with our partners on Yemen and regional challenges is crucial for peace and stability.”

The US Secretary of State published pictures from the meeting, where the three ministers appeared chatting and smiling together.

For his part, Emirati presidential advisor, Anwar Gargash, wrote in a comment on the post: “The tripartite Saudi-Emirati-American coordination meeting in New York and a common vision towards peace and stability in Yemen.”
