A Acer presented its newest router with connection support Wi-Fi 6E Ecologically correct. It’s regarding the Connect Vero W6m, the brand’s first to be produced with post-consumer recycled materials (PCR). In addition, the product has an eco mode to operate with a focus on energy efficiency.

It is a great joy to expand Acer’s network device portfolio with the launch of the Acer Connect Vero W6m Wi-Fi 6E mesh router, designed with support for tri-band Wi-Fi 6E connectivity offering fast and secure connections with wide network inside any home or office. This performance-oriented router is also the latest addition to our growing Vero line of eco-friendly products, embodying Acer’s commitment to environmental responsibility and helping to minimize its carbon footprint.
Regarding the specifications, the router comes with a processor MediaTek Quad-Core that operates in 2 GHz frequencies, in addition to complying with the safety standards defined by the Radio Equipment Directive of the European Commission. Likewise, it can reach speeds of up to 7.8 Gbps for not only fast but also stable connections.
The product range is 465 m² in a dual mesh system and it can be paired with up to 4 units. If the system is quad mesh, the range increases to 930 m². Furthermore, the router comes with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. In addition, the device is the first in its category to be approved in Energy Safety Standards EU EN 303 645 (RED).
Regarding sustainability, the model stands out not only for the chassis made in PCR, but also for having a packaging made of 100% recycled paper. Finally, Eco mode works by optimizing the router’s energy consumption, as well as managing the sleep time of other connected devices, regulating data transfer.
