A Acer announced a new product for its Chromboxes line. This is the Chromebox Mini, which has a more compact design, does not have an active cooling system and stands out for supporting simultaneous connection with up to three monitors. The product presentation was made during the event ISE 2024.
To begin with, the equipment promises to be an interesting option for small and medium-sized companies. The model stands out for its efficiency and versatility, featuring two HDMI outputs and one USB-C so it can connect to up to 3 monitors at the same time, which can be interesting to maintain the focus on productivity.
Not having a cooling fan means that the model will be able to operate without making noise. Furthermore, the item supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet ports for internet connection via cable. Furthermore, it has 5 USB Type-A ports, as well as a 3.5 mm input for connecting wired headphones.
Regarding technical specifications, the model should be launched on the market with a Jasper Lake generation processor, which has been around for a few years and operates with low energy consumption.
