A Acer announced this Thursday (20) two new notebooks with ChromeOS com focus on productivity. It’s regarding the Chromebook Spin 714 e Chromebook Enterprise Spin 714which comes in two versions with a durable design and details related to sustainability. James Lin is General Manager of the company’s products and commented on the news:

The new Acer Chromebook Spin 714 and Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 714 have performance and productivity boosting features that make them ideal for mobile executives and professionals, as well as consumers and students using more advanced applications such as coding and video editing

In general, the models share several of their attributes, such as Intel’s 13th generation processors, in addition to a battery that promises to last up to 10 hours away from the socket, which has support for fast charging. Likewise, the screen is 14 inches with 100% sRGB coverage.

Another detail worth mentioning regarding these models is that both come with a QHD resolution webcam and a convertible mode, which allows you to fold the devices in 360 degrees. The difference, in this case, is that the Enterprise model offers solutions for work in companies, such as Intel vPro technology.

This feature can be useful for companies that need additional management and security controls. Finally, the chassis is made of anodized aluminum and the brand’s promise is that the devices will be able to withstand daily wear and tear, in addition to preventing chips and corrosion.
