This emerges from a document filed in a New York court on Wednesday (local time). In it, the plaintiff “Jane Doe” states that Foxx “intentionally and without her consent offensively touched her using force.”
According to the lawsuit filed in New York State Supreme Court, Eric Marlon Bishop, aka Foxx, allegedly touched the woman’s breasts and genitals at a party on the rooftop terrace of a Manhattan bar.
Foxx won an Oscar in 2005 for his role as Ray Charles in the 2005 biopic “Ray,” and in the same year he received an Oscar nomination for “Collateral.” He also became known for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s film “Django Unchained” alongside Christoph Waltz. He was most recently in front of the camera in Georgia for “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz.
