The weather will be sunny once more on Sunday, announces the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) in its morning bulletin. It will be noticeably warmer with highs of 26 or 27°C in the Hautes-Fagnes to 30 or 31°C in the plain, even very locally up to 32°C, under a light to moderate wind. At the end of the day, high and medium cloud fields will reach the west of the country and the sky will temporarily become cloudier overnight. Some showers will be possible, especially in the northern half of the country. The minima will generally be between 15 and 20°C.
Monday, a zone of not very active rain will finish crossing Belgium from west to east. Aft, the cloudiness will once more become variable with generally dry weather. A small isolated shower is not excluded, notes the IRM. Maritime currents will bring cooler air with temperatures that will not exceed 19°C in the upper Ardennes, 21°C by the sea and 22 or 23°C in most other regions.
The thermometer will show similar highs on the following days and we will have to deal with showers throughout the week.
