Hello Zoe, we are expecting the passage of a very attenuated frontal system on Friday late followingnoon that might leave a downpour in the evening. However, the latter should slide on the Ardennes the night where it will stagnate once more on Saturday morning. the sun will return quickly by the coast and should progress towards Brussels where I expect an improvement over the hours. The followingnoon will be very pleasant with an alternating sky but a low to zero risk of showers in seasonal heat. Despite the passage through slightly cooler air of oceanic origin, the presence of the very high sun in early August will still allow temperatures to reach 22/24°C, which is ideal for a walk.
“What’s the weather in Gaume next week?”: Farid answers your weather question
And on the rest of the country this Tuesday?
We will experience the approach of a very attenuated warm front not giving much. It will be materialized by often more abundant altitude clouds from Flanders to the north of the Sambre and Meuse furrow as far as Hainaut and Brabants. It will be a bit bright over the southern provinces following dissipation of any low clouds giving way to cumulus clouds (slight instability).
In the followingnoon, these altitude sails will be lined with mid-level clouds making the feeling milky or even graying. A warm front at the end of its life will approach the west with a localized drop of the sea to the north then perhaps in isolation on a Hainaut-capital axis. At the end of the followingnoon and beginning of the evening, it will still be necessary to fear a few fairly widespread drizzles under this frontal system with the south of the Ardennes spared. The following night will see these same conditions with a leaden sky and some light rain leaving 1 to 2-3 L/m² at the most. The highs will reach 15 to 22°C under a moderate and fairly strong westerly wind from the southwest at sea (35-45 km/h).
