Cloudiness will be abundant on Thursday, with showers that can still be quite heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms and gusts of 50 to 70 km / h. In the middle of the day, the weather will temporarily become drier in the west and center of the country. New less heavy showers will return during the followingnoon from the North Sea, according to forecasts from the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).
The maxima will vary between 14°C in the Hautes Fagnes, 17 or 18°C by the sea and 19 or 20°C in most other regions. The fairly strong southwesterly wind will shift between west and northwest, then moderate once more. Along the coast, the fairly strong to strong northwesterly wind will become moderate once more.
Tonight and next night, a few residual showers will still occur south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow. During the night, dry weather with sometimes large clearings will spread to all regions. Low clouds may also form in the Ardennes. The minima will vary between 10 and 16°C. The moderate northwesterly wind will become weak from the west.
Friday, the day will start under beautiful clearings but the grayness might invite itself in the Ardennes. Showers sometimes quite heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms and heavy rains will then develop during the day. The maxima will vary between 15°C in the Hautes Fagnes and 20°C in places in the center of the country. The light west to southwest wind will become moderate northwest.
On Saturday, the sky will be very cloudy to overcast with rain for much of the day. Precipitation might locally be abundant. The weather will be very cool for the season with highs ranging from 13°C in the upper Ardennes to 17 or 18°C in most other regions.
Sunday, the sky will be very cloudy at first with rain sometimes in the form of showers. During the followingnoon, the weather will become drier once more from the west with wide clearings. The showers should however linger until the evening in the regions located south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow.
On Monday, sunny spells and cloudy periods will share the sky with a lower risk of showers than the previous days.
