Tomorrow (22.12.23) the payment of extraordinary OPECA benefits, amounting to 175 million euros, will be made, as announced by the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sofia Zaharakis.
The payment from OPECA (it will appear on the accounts of the beneficiaries from today, 21.12.23 late in the afternoon) concerns beneficiaries of child benefit, Minimum Guaranteed Income, the disabled and uninsured senior citizens.
Analytically:
- For the Child Allowance an additional 1.5 installments are paid, indicatively a family with two children who receives a child allowance of 140 euros, will receive 350 euros. The increase will be 150%.
- For Persons with Disabilities the allowance will rise to 200 euros.
- Those who receive the Minimum Guaranteed Income will receive half of the monthly payment while the 8% increase that started in December is also recalled.
- Beneficiaries of the Uninsured Elderly benefit will receive an extraordinary aid of 150 euros.
- It is noted that the regular payments of the Monthly Allowances and the Child Allowance from OPECA will be made on the same day.
