According to a “Spiegel” report, important files from the reign of Chancellor Helmut Kohl (CDU) have apparently disappeared. For example, the originals of 70 documents that historians from the Institute for Contemporary History copied during Kohl’s lifetime between 2012 and 2014 in his private home in Oggersheim in Rhineland-Palatinate were missing, the magazine reported on Friday in advance of its new issue.
