New York – A US judge has ordered Argentina to pay $16.1 billion (around €15 billion) to two companies in connection with the partial nationalization of the oil company YPF. Judge Loretta Preska ordered the South American country on Friday to pay $7.5 billion in damages and $6.85 billion in interest to Petersen Energia.
