According to a vast survey by Pôle Emploi, the most sought-following job in France is that of a waiter.

This study, which has existed for 20 years, was carried out among 424,000 establishments between October and December 2022 and notably establishes a list of the 10 most sought-following professions and those where it is the most difficult to recruit in France over a year.

Pôle emploi also notes that Normandy and Centre-Val-de-Loire are the most dynamic regions, with intentions up by more than 10%, while Hauts-de-France and Grand Est are falling more. of 4 %.

According to Pôle emploi, the employment dynamic was driven in 2022 by establishments with fewer than 10 employees. They represent one in two job plans and their hiring intentions are up 5%. In accommodation and catering, they even increased by 8.3%.
