Berlin – The right-wing populist German AfD has reached a new record in an Insa survey and is now 4.5 percentage points behind the Union. The Opinion Trend for the “Bild” newspaper “Bild” estimates approval for the AfD at 21 percent and for the conservative CDU/CSU at 25.5 percent, according to the preliminary report. The SPD comes to 19 percent and the Greens to 14.5 percent. The FDP is therefore at 6.5 percent, the left at five percent.
