Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1445H/2024M, the Halal Product Guarantee Organizing Agency (BPJPH) of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) is disbursing incentives for Halal Product Process Assistance (P3H) and fees for Halal Product Process Assistance Institutions (LP3H). Head of BPJPH, Ministry of Religion, Aqil Irham, said that the amount of incentives disbursed reached more than IDR 81 billion.
“BPJPH has disbursed incentive money for Halal Product Process Assistants and also LP3H fees with a total amount of IDR 81,434,175,000,” said Aqil in his statement, Monday (8/4).
This amount consists of P3H incentives amounting to IDR 69,800,700,000 and LP3H fees amounting to IDR 11,633,475,000. This was paid based on the performance of the P3H which resulted in the issuance of 465,338 halal certificates.
P3H incentives and LP3H fees are components in financing halal certification through a business actor statement or self-declare scheme. The disbursement of this incentive is based on the performance of P3H and LP3H in the halal certification assistance process for micro and small enterprises (UMK).
The P3H incentives and LP3H costs will be paid by BPJPH if the task of assisting halal certification for MSEs has been completed.
“On behalf of BPJPH, I express my appreciation to all LP3H and P3H spread throughout Indonesia for their performance in helping MSEs with halal certification,” he said.
The implementation of payments also adjusts the timing of the review carried out by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) some time ago. (Z-11)
