Yesterday morning, at a cardboard factory in Ansan, a worker in his 40s died following being caught in a machine.
Today, there was a power outage in an apartment complex in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, and it seems that the cat touched the high-voltage line.

A corrugated cardboard manufacturing plant in Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do.
Yesterday around 4:30 am, 43-year-old Mo Park, who was working two shifts here, got caught in a cardboard stacking machine.
Park suffered serious head and back injuries and was taken to the hospital, but eventually died.

“It seems that the cardboard got stuck in the machine during the loading process. I should have stopped (machine), but (just) put my body in to take it out…”
Park, who has been working at night since 9 pm the night before, is known to have worked for this company for over 20 years.
Seven people were working together at the time of the accident, and the police plan to investigate whether safety rules were followed.

Flames burn in the building with open windows, and black smoke billows into the sky.
At around 3:30 pm today, a fire broke out on the fourth floor of a multi-family house in Goseong-eup, Gyeongsangnam-do, and it was extinguished in 40 minutes.

“Suddenly there is a popping sound and black smoke rises, and the glass of the store shakes. It hurts my ears (sound)…”
A man in his 50s, who lived alone on the floor of the fire, suffered burns to his face and legs.

“They say that when they opened the valve and tried to cook food, the moment the gas light was turned on…”
The fire department reported that the gas exploded and is investigating.

The elevator stopped abruptly, and residents were trapped inside.
This morning, 1,300 households in an apartment complex in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do were cut off from electricity for two hours.

“Elevator doesn’t work. After an hour and a half (regarding), the temperature gradually drops…”
At the same time, regarding 900 households in other apartment complexes in the vicinity also had power outages for regarding 40 minutes.
KEPCO is presuming that the cat entered the electrical facility of the apartment complex and touched the high-voltage line, causing a power outage.

Yesterday, a large fire at the Kiturami Boiler manufacturing plant in Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do caused property damage estimated at 8.5 billion won by the fire department.
Two factories with an area of 493 million square meters, seven times the size of a soccer field, were burned down, including production facilities and finished boilers.
While the exact cause of the fire is still unknown, the police and fire department are planning to conduct a joint investigation tomorrow.
