Carabineros confirmed the arrest of a 16-year-old boy who was the author of an accidental shooting that ended the life of another 15-year-old teenager in the Los Ríos region.
Specifically, the incident occurred during the night of this Friday inside a home on Manuel Varas Street in the commune of San José de la Mariquina.
Carabineros personnel went to that place, and found the firearm in the patio of the home.
In this context, the arrest of the person who would be the perpetrator of the shot was made. A 16-year-old young man who, together with the victim and a third minor, would have been handling the weapon.
From the Public Ministry, proceedings were carried out to the Homicide Brigade (BH) and the Criminalistics Laboratory of the PDI to determine the circumstances of what happened.
