Accident on Trasa Łazienkowska. New facts about the injured 20-year-old
On Tuesday, “Fakt” reported that 20-year-old Paulina K. is the partner of Łukasz Ż., suspected of causing the accident. According to the portal, the woman is currently in serious condition. “She has broken cheekbones, knocked out teeth, a contused skull and a severed spinal cord,” it was reported.
Paulina K. is said to have regained consciousness, but her condition still does not allow for questioning.
Journalists also found that the woman had a previous criminal record. In 2022, she was to be sentenced to three years and six months in prison for drug smuggling. Her mother was also sentenced in the same case – to four years.
Accident on Trasa Łazienkowska. Łukasz Ż. detained
A tragic accident occurred on the night of September 14-15 on Trasa Łazienkowska in Warsaw. A Volkswagen drove at high speed into the back of a Ford, which then hit the crash barriers. There was a family of four in the Ford. As a result of the accident, a 37-year-old man died, and his wife and two children were taken to hospital.
After the accident, 20-year-old Paulina K. was also taken to hospital. Three men who were travelling in the Volkswagen with the woman tried to blame her and pointed to her as the person driving the vehicle.
According to investigators, the perpetrator of the accident is 26-year-old Łukasz Ż. After the incident, the man fled the country and was eventually detained in Germany in a hospital in Lübeck.
Ż., before the accident in Warsaw, had been banned from driving. In total, this type of penalty was applied to him five times.
In connection with the accident, the services detained six people. – Five people are temporarily arrested. One person is staying outside the borders of the Republic of Poland. In relation to one person, proceedings are underway regarding the application of preventive measures – the spokesman for the Police Department reported on Friday.
He announced that further charges may be brought in the case and other people may be detained.

“We are constantly working on specific solutions. First of all, Warsaw will allocate further funds for additional patrols by traffic police officers, including for pursuing organizers and participants of night car rallies. There is no consent for our streets to become racetracks,” he said on social media.
