Accident on the Brussels ring road: traffic normalizes at Grand Bigard towards Zaventem

This Monday soon after 15h, a major accident between 3 trucks occurred near Grand Bigard. These paralyzed several bands towards Zaventem. The passage was made only via the left lane.

This resulted in major traffic jams.

At 4:10 p.mthe queues went back more than 10km to Drogenbos, causing motorists to lose more than 1h40 in traffic jams.

Verkeerscentrum advises users coming from Nivelles or Halle and wishing to go to Antwerp to take the Brussels ring from the outside, in other words, via the Léonard crossroads.

At 17 o’clock, the roadway is clear, improving the flow of traffic.
