Cuarto Poder broadcast the audio from the control tower prior to the accident, between the plane that was regarding to take off to Juliaca (Puno) and an emergency truck from Lima Airport Partners (LAP), in the Jorge Chavez airport. In the broadcast audio, the person in charge of the surface channel can be heard calling the pilot of flight 2213 and telling him to position himself on the holding runway before starting the takeoff process. “Lan Peru 2213. 1 alpha. Waiting point 393″he tells her.
As required by the procedure, following positioning the aircraft, the surface asks the pilot to change his frequency so that he can communicate with control and thus begin the takeoff process. “Lan Perú 2213, all set, contact the tower.”
Twenty seconds following that communication, the surface contacts rescue, the group of firefighters that was going to carry out test exercises, asking them to confirm their position because they will soon be given authorization to carry out the exercises. “Rescue 6, surface.
