“We are now entering the operational phase”: Vinh Dao assures us, one of the largest urbanization projects in Romandie is taking shape in Geneva. This Friday, the director general of the Praille-Acacias-Vernets Foundation (FPAV) and its president Robert Cramer presented their price policy on the acquisition and development of the land concerned. “We are seeing an acceleration of the process, rejoices the president. The bulk of the negotiations will be able to start now.”

As a reminder, the PAV urbanization project is a vast urban renewal project in the municipalities of the city of Geneva, Carouge and Lancy which provides for the creation of 12,000 housing units and 5,700 jobs by 2060. A real metamorphosis which aims to turn these essentially industrial areas into a new city centre. Created in 2019 by the Grand Council to facilitate the implementation of the project, the PAV Foundation has a financial capacity of around 470 million francs. Its main mission: to negotiate the land currently held by companies and private individuals on behalf of the State.
