TRANSACTION e-purchasing through the local e-catalog East Java continues to show positive developments, with total transactions reaching IDR 6.1 trillion until June 30, 2024.
This was stated by the Acting Regional Secretary of East Java Province, Bobby Soemiarsono, at the event. E-Purchasing Award 2024 which took place at the Grand City Convex Surabaya, Tuesday (20/8/2024) afternoon.
According to Bobby, East Java’s local e-catalog currently has 101 storefronts, including a construction catalog, with more than 170,000 products displayed.
“East Java Shopping Online (Jatim Bejo) has encouraged all regencies and cities to compete in conducting transactions. Alhamdulillah, the development is very positive,” he said.
In order to accelerate the display of domestic products, especially from micro, small, and cooperative businesses in the local e-catalog, the East Java Provincial Government also gave 30 award certificates to the Regency/City Government and regional apparatus in East Java. Bobby emphasized that this digitalization not only increases data accuracy, but also encourages the growth of MSMEs in East Java.

“With digitalization, God willing, unwanted things can be prevented because of the digital footprint. More importantly, this digitalization encourages MSMEs to grow and develop,” he added.
So far, as many as 33 regencies/cities in East Java have successfully conducted goods and services transactions with a value of more than IDR 1 trillion.
Bobby also invited regencies/cities that have not joined the Jatim Bejo program to immediately participate in utilizing this local online store and e-catalog.

Head of the PBJ Bureau of the East Java Provincial Secretariat, Endy Alim Abdi Nusa, on the same occasion added that the East Java Provincial Government continues to be committed to increasing regional spending through optimizing local e-catalogs and the Jatim Bejo program.
“The E-Purchasing Award is held to provide appreciation for digital transactions which are expected to provide many benefits,” said Endy.

Director of the Digital Procurement Market of LKPP RI, Yulianto Prihandoyo, also expressed his appreciation to the East Java Provincial Government for its success in socializing the digitalization of procurement of goods and services.
“Today the government has two shopping catalogs, namely E-Catalog and Jatim Bejo. There are many benefits obtained, we can shop faster and more precisely,” said Yulianto.
In the event, several awards were also given, including to Malang City which won First Place for the Regency/City category with the most transactions through Jatim Bejo. Meanwhile, the award for the East Java Province OPD category with the most transactions was won by the East Java Provincial Education Office.
In addition, Bobby also launched a new feature, Bank Jatim Bailout Fund in the Jatim Bejo program, which was marked by pressing the siren button.
With this achievement, East Java Province has reaffirmed its position as the largest local e-catalog manager in Indonesia, which not only supports local economic growth but also increases transparency and efficiency in the procurement of goods and services in the region.
