The Cacuaco Sports Academy (ADC), in partnership with the Black White school in Germany, pays homage to the president of the Angolan Women and Sports Association (AMUD), Justina Praça, on Saturday, starting at 10 am.
The tribute will take place at Campo do Hotel Cacuaco, in the Angolan capital. To brighten up the event, the organization will hold a game between teams of initiates from ADC and Escola Macovi. This will be followed by the challenge of former Angolan handball stars: friends of Odeth Tavares and friends of Justina Praça.
The president and mentor of ADC, Job Samissende, told this newspaper that Justina Praça deserves this tribute for everything she did in handball as a player and now as a manager.
Job Samissende guaranteed that the event will be attended by directors from the Angolan Handball Federation (FAAND).
For this reason, the person responsible assured that the conditions for the event to run smoothly are being created technically and administratively.
Justina Praça was born in Quilengues, in the province of Huíla, on May 26, 1979.
Considered one of the best goalkeepers of the last 20 years, she started playing handball at the age of ten, on 1º de Maio in Benguela, and at 18 she went to Luanda, where she joined Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA).
