Samara Yahya, the wife of the Egyptian player Mohamed Abu Jabal, sparked a great controversy following she announced for the first time that she was officially seeking to separate from her husband.
This development came in a cycle of tension and attraction between the two parties that has continued since her husband’s brilliance in the last African Nations Championship and their differences that escalated into social media.
Egyptian activists had quoted statements regarding Abu Jabal’s mother asking her son to divorce his wife because of the difference in customs and traditions between the two parties, and she says: There are a thousand girls who wish you.
A few weeks ago, Abu Jabal celebrated Mother’s Day with his mother and published a picture of them together via the “Story” of his account on Instagram, in which he appears with his mother.
He commented, “Happy Birthday,” and attached it to a red heart emoji and a symbol of the globe.
The audience was surprised by the absence of his wife Samara Yahya from the party, as the pictures showed Abu Jabal alone with his mother.
The audience saw that Abu Jabal’s wife had the duty to attend this party, despite their problems and separation, as the husband’s mother is like a second mother in Egyptian custom.
But it seems that the relationship between her and her mother-in-law has reached a dead end, and she responded to his demand for her divorce by not attending his party with his mother.
