Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club to Host Arab Swimming Championship: Updates and Preparations

Abu Dhabi, September 10 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club will host the Arab Swimming Championship competitions during the period from 27 to 30 October next at the Mohammed bin Zayed City Swimming Pool in Abu Dhabi.
Engineer Saeed Al Jasmi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club, confirmed that the club is currently focusing on preparing swimmers to participate in the Emirates Swimming Cup Championship next October 7 and 8, which is the most important experience in selecting members of the national team for the men’s general stage, in preparation for announcing the list of participants.
Regarding the club’s new season, Al Jasmi said: “It includes a program full of activities and events, most notably the Abu Dhabi Swim for Life League, and swimming festivals for children and juniors in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, with the introduction of a series of programs and workshops related to sports training and teaching swimming.” Rescue and water safety.
He added: The club is in the process of studying hosting tournaments and other activities during the coming period in the context of supporting swimmers for various participations and preparing them at a high level.
Regarding the club’s preparations for the new season, Al Jasmi noted that the start was last August, when the club’s players participated in an international camp in the Russian city of Kazan. The club also continues to involve its swimmers in various community swimming and aquathlon championships organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
