ABU DHABI, 26th August, 2020 (WAM) — The Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate in the Criminal Security Sector of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command implemented the “Reply to Them” humanitarian initiative, which included providing water, juices, healthy meals, umbrellas and gifts to workers at construction sites, within the framework of social responsibility.
Brigadier General Mohammed Hamdan Al-Mandhari, Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs and Operations at the Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate, explained that the initiative implemented by the Public Relations Department in the Directorate aims to alleviate the suffering of workers, make them happy, promote the values of charitable and humanitarian work, and highlight the role of Abu Dhabi Police in promoting this humanitarian service for the working class of society. And protecting workers from the negative effects of thirst at noon, under the sun.
He stressed the Directorate’s interest in noble human values, and its continuous endeavor to communicate with all segments of society, promote compassion and solidarity, and build bridges of cooperation and partnership, pointing out that workers have been made aware of public safety measures, especially with the rise in temperatures.
The workers expressed their happiness and pride in the humanitarian initiatives of the Abu Dhabi Police, which are implemented annually as part of its continuous interest in the category of workers, affirming their role in the process of development and always supporting them in various circumstances.
The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Salem Al Hammadi, Head of the Public Relations Department at the Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate, and a number of employees.
