ABU DHABI, 24th April, 2020 (WAM) — The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Shelter and Humanitarian Care Center “Ewaa” regarding the provision of integrated services for victims of violence and human trafficking.
The memorandum was signed on the part of the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector at Abu Dhabi Police, and on the part of the Abu Dhabi Shelter and Humanitarian Care Center “Ewaa”, HE Sarah Ibrahim Shuhail, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Center for Shelter and Humanitarian Care “Ewaa”.
The Director of the Criminal Security Sector emphasized Abu Dhabi Police’s interest in strengthening cooperation, consolidating bonds of joint work, learning regarding advanced best practices, following developmental developments that raise performance to the best levels, according to specialized scientific and developmental approaches, and investing the capabilities and capabilities of both parties in addressing issues of violence, abuse and human trafficking issues from a perspective. He explained that the memorandum aims to combat violent crimes in all its forms and issues of human trafficking, and to care and rehabilitate its victims at the local, regional and international levels.
For her part, Her Excellency Sarah Shuhail said, “The memorandum of understanding is the culmination of the joint efforts between the center and Abu Dhabi Police, and reflects the keenness of both sides to enhance cooperation and close partnership that has existed for years, in a way that contributes to achieving the common goals between the two parties, represented in providing integrated services to victims of violence and trafficking.” with humans.”
