Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2023 Honors Winners and Showcase Platforms

ABU DHABI, September 9, 2023 – His Excellency Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2023 and Secretary General of the Emirates Falconers Club, honored yesterday evening the winners of the exhibition’s specialized competitions and the best display platforms for participants in all sectors.

He also honored the event’s sponsors, supporters and partners for its twentieth session, and Mr. Omar Fouad Ahmed, director of the exhibition, member of the Supreme Organizing Committee and project manager at the Emirates Falconers Club, participated in the honoring.

The honoring ceremony was held at the conclusion of the activities of the exhibition, which was organized by the Emirates Falconers Club during the period from 2 to 8 September, under the slogan “Sustainability and Heritage… in a renewed spirit,” and with a historic record participation in terms of the number of companies, exhibitors, brands, countries, area, and visitors. More than 1,220 exhibitors participated in the exhibition. And brands from 65 countries on an area of ​​more than 65 thousand square meters with more than 200 activities, live shows, workshops and exciting events.

Al Mansouri stressed that the unprecedented success achieved by the exhibition in its twentieth session at all levels was achieved thanks to the great care and unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and President of the Falconers’ Club. The UAE is the exhibition’s sponsor for efforts to promote sustainable hunting, preserve the pillars of authentic Arab heritage, and constantly follow up on efforts to develop this international heritage event, expressing sincere thanks, appreciation and pride to their Highnesses, and stressing that the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition will continue to develop its plans, projects and content in the upcoming sessions.

His Excellency also thanked and appreciated all the participants in the exhibition from inside and outside the UAE, including companies, exhibitors, sponsors, supporters, partners, and all media representatives, for their role in achieving this distinction achieved by the twentieth session.

His Excellency, along with the director of the exhibition, honored the winners of the event’s competitions. In the Arabian Saluki grooming competition, which witnessed a large participation, the first place in the (male horse) category was won by Shiboob, owned by Rawdah Al Sharqiya, second place was Warsan, owned by Dalma Canel Farm, and third place was won by Sawad, owned by Dalma Canel Farm.

As for the (female horse) category, first place was won by Al Dhabi, owned by Salem Khalfan Al Shamsi, second place was won by Shamsa, owned by Maria Curtis, and third place was won by Khamisa, owned by Dalma Canel Farm.

In the (male Arish) category, first place was won by Lahab, owned by Sarah Abdel Aziz Rashdan, second place was won by Kaftan, by its owner Alexandra Salvan, in second place was won by Burkan, by its owner Muhammad Al-Mishali. In the (female Arish) category, “Phoebe” was won by its owner, “House of Hounds,” and in second place was Jounieh, by its owner Sarah. Abdulaziz Rashdan, and in third place is Jamra, owned by Latifa Muhammad.

In the competition for the best models and heritage artifacts, his filly Rashed Al-Abrawi and Maryam Al-Maskari won the first three places, respectively.

In the best hunting knife competition, the first and third places were won by Mohammed Al Amiri, owner of the Emirati company Tamreen, and in second place was Oryx Custom, owned by the Emirati knife maker Abdullah Al-Ahmad.

As for the competition for the most beautiful falcon burqa, first place was won by Deauville De Angelis from the Emirates, second place was won by Atelier Sugisaki from Japan, and third place was won by GBP Falcons from France.
