Abu Dhabi Institute for Vocational Education and Training Hosts Apprenticeship and Emiratisation Forum: Connecting Students with Job Opportunities in Specialized Industries

ABU DHABI, 1st November / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Institute for Vocational Education and Training, affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, attracted 38 governmental and international specialized industrial and engineering institutions and regarding 1,500 officials and school students, all of whom interacted with the employment fair accompanying the “Apprenticeship and Emiratisation Forum”, which Organized by the Institute in Abu Dhabi.

The forum was attended by Dr. Abdul Rahman Jassim Al Hammadi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Institute for Vocational Education and Training, and an elite group of employment managers and officials in the aforementioned institutions, including the Ministry of Interior, National Holding, Exceed Industrial, Bin Hamoodah Group, Majid Al Futtaim Group, Saber Investment, and other entities and institutions, along with parents and members of the community. .

Dr. Abdul Rahman Jassim Al Hammadi said in his speech during the opening session of the forum that the participating government and industrial institutions offer hundreds of specialized job opportunities and compete to attract “Abu Dhabi Vocational” students and employ them immediately upon graduation, which indicates the extent of the success of the “Abu Dhabi Technical” strategy in empowering its university and school institutions. And training, including the Abu Dhabi Vocational Institute, where the latest engineering, technological and vocational programs were introduced that meet the requirements for obtaining future jobs in both the government and private sectors.

He explained that the forum brings together officials of companies and institutions with students and members of the community to present to them the job opportunities available now and in the future, giving students and parents the true vision of anticipating future jobs and the specializations they must join to ensure compatibility with the requirements of the labor market and employment upon graduation.

For his part, Dr. Ghassan Farasheh, Academic Director at the Abu Dhabi Institute for Vocational Education and Training, stressed during the working sessions the importance of the forum in enhancing mutual understanding and communication between the Institute and various sectors in line with the strategy of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to develop qualified national cadres for the labor market.
