On December 24, around 10 a.m., a driver was the victim of a hit-and-run on Route 317, in the municipality of Ripon. The man was found with serious head injuries, but media reports authorities do not fear for his life. Christian Gérard survived, but his life and that of his spouse Maggie Paradis must change completely and the Outaouais will have to mourn a regional jewel.
