UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the signing of the “Abrahamic Agreement” for peace “constituted an important step towards achieving peace in the Middle East and enhancing stability and security for the peoples of the region.”
He noted, in a statement published on the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ page on the X website (formerly Twitter), that on September 15, the UAE and Israel celebrate “the third anniversary of the historic Abrahamic Peace Agreement” and are moving forward “in strengthening bilateral partnership and cooperation in several fields.”

He added that they are working through bilateral agreements to “create new growth opportunities for the region’s youth, which in turn contributes to global efforts to support peace and prosperity.”
In mid-September 2020, Israel signed agreements with the UAE and Bahrain, at the White House in Washington, to normalize relations under the auspices of the United States.
The signing of the agreements came 26 years following the last agreement that Israel signed with an Arab country, Jordan.
