Restricting abortion is also leading to significant declines. The number of abortions in the United States has also declined overall.

In the 13 US states that have banned abortion with few exceptions, abortion rates have fallen by 96 percent. That’s according to a study by the Society for Family Planning.
In June 2022, the US Supreme Court returned Roe v. Wade” rescinded. With this decision, bans and restrictions on abortion by the states were once more possible. In the 13 states that have banned abortion—Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin—the number of abortions fell significantly.
The study observed the period from July to December 2022. During these months, the number of abortions per month decreased by an average of 7,235 compared to the numbers in April and May 2022, i.e. before the repeal of Roe v. Calf”. There was an average of just 256 abortions per month across all 13 states combined. These were legally possible because there are some exceptions to the abortion ban, for example if the unborn child was conceived through rape or incest or if the mother’s life is in danger.
States that have restricted abortion since June 2022 are also seeing significant declines in numbers. However, in states where abortion is legal, the number of abortions increased, by an average of 1,858. In part, this may be related to women moving from states with strict abortion restrictions or bans to other states with less strict abortion regulations.
Overall, however, there is a decrease in the number of abortions by 5,377 per month for the USA as a whole. On average, from July to December 2022, there were approximately 77,000 abortions per month in all states of the United States combined.

Still too many abortions It is understandable that in states with a ban the numbers are falling. Also, keep in mind that the US is very big and it’s not that quick and easy to go to another state where abortion might be legal. However you interpret it, every abortion is murder and must never go unpunished! In the United States, murderers sometimes face the death penalty. And killing unborn children is not murder and therefore not punishable? |

It shouldn’t be regarding bans. Nor is it said that murder, manslaughter and rape are forbidden, but that they are not permitted or, even better, that they are unacceptable and incompatible with humanity and human dignity. |
