Ableton Note
Ableton’s new application will provide a toolbox to assist the user in the music creation process. The Ableton Note app includes a whole list of tools that will make it possible to format and record an idea, whether from the comfort of a couch, or on the go. For this, Note proposes to develop rhythms with a grid of 16 pads, to correct the placements by quantifying them, and to personalize the rendering with effects, to add a melody via 261 synthesizer sounds and 36 sampled instruments, 25 pads and a keyboard, or to record samples of sounds around you directly within the interface.
A notebook always available
The application should delight Live users in order to complete their arsenal. The program will also be able to detect the tempo and the length of the phrases of a creation in order to automatically create loops, to propose variations via the Session interface in order to develop an idea or to put on the path of inspiration, all before continuing to record and fine-tune ideas within Live by transferring sessions via Ableton Cloud.
Ableton Noteis already available for download on the App Store at a price of 6.99 euros. The program requires an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch under iOS/iPadOS 15.0 minimum, 545.6 MB of free storage space and does not offer in-app purchases. As a reminder, Ableton Live 11, which natively supports Apple Silicon Macs since the 11.1 update, is already available on the publisher’s official website at 79€ pour Live Intro, 349€ for Live Standard, and 599€ pour Live Suite.
