Nahid said that the series witnessed great success following it was first shown 25 years ago, but the continuation of that success was God’s blessing.
She added that the director of the series, Ahmed Tawfik, wanted to review the events of the series in a way that was closer to reality, and therefore he was keen that the representatives of the “Abdul Ghafour Al-Borai” family be similar in features, pointing out that he disrupted filming for a certain period until the artist, Hanan Turk, finished another work. She was associated with him at the time.
And regarding the scenes of the series, Nahed explained that the artist Abla Kamel used to cook many meals at home and bring them to the filming location, and most of the dishes were with garlic, so the smell of the place changed immediately, which angered Rabab Hussein, the executive director of the series, adding: “I told Abla, I will go.” Because of you.. I go home every day. I smell Tom, and I follow in a comic way. They would expel us because of the smell of Tom. ».
She continued that she was married during the filming of the series, and her son Ahmed was 8 years old, while Dina was 3 years old, pointing out that her daughter when the series was shown was very angry at the scene of the artist Nour Sharif hitting her, to the point that she wanted to break the TV.
Nahed indicated that the late artist, Suhair Al-Baroni, was helping her colleagues in the series choose their clothes, commenting: “I’m not in the stylist”, stressing that the late artist Nour Al-Sharif, he always directed them to the right and provided them with many useful advice.
She added that the series gave young people at the time of its presentation a great hope in life, following it showed them the possibility of creating great wealth from scratch and in legitimate ways, as did the hero of the series, “Abdul Ghafour Al-Borai”, who was embodied by Nour Al-Sharif.
