On Monday the quarterfinals began on Got Talent Argentina. The host Lizy Tagliani explained the new rules of this instance in the program. The night had many emotions, and the jury made up of Abel Pintos, Emir Abdul, La Joaqui and Florencia Peña had to choose between eight participants. There was also a golden button and the first runner-up.
Lizy Tagliani at the beginning joked that they now have new looks and then said that there was a cut in the list of participants who will define their future in this instance of the contest. “They worked hard to decide which of the 280 participants who got the yes went to the quarterfinals,” she said. In total there were 144 contestants.
Each night, eight participants will appear and the jury will define the two that continue to the new round.
Fiorella Gerardi, the 11-year-old lyrical singer, had a performance that captivated the jury and even made them cry.
«You are very sweet in addition to singing beautifully. You are also a beautiful person. It seems like you have a recorder hidden in your pocket, it’s impressive,” La Joaqui told the little singer from Chubut.
“I can’t believe it because you’re 11 years old. But you are so confident with your instrument that your nerves take a backseat. I am really excited to have the pleasure of listening to you,” said Emir Abdul.
“You are still very young and you came into this world with enormous talent. I hope you can shine all over the world because you are a beautiful genius,” said Florencia Peña.
And then it was Abel Pintos’ turn, who told her “you’re beautiful” and pressed the golden button for her to go directly to the final.
“I’m confused, I thought this wasn’t going to happen,” said the first finalist of Got Talent Argentina, surprised. And then she said: “I was afraid because I suffered bullying for singing. They didn’t like where I went,” she revealed.

Unlike the previous stage, the golden button that previously took the participants to the semifinals now sends them directly to the final.
“There will be 8 participants each night, of which only two will go to the semifinals. The jury has the possibility of one golden button each, and when that happens, the participant goes directly to the final,” explained Lizy Tagliani.
On Monday there was a golden button and the chosen semifinalists were Facundo Rau and Doctora Queen.
