Abel Ayala is the actor from “El Marginal,” the hit TV show that gained him great notoriety. This Thursday, he found himself in the middle of a scandal after being accused of alleged injuries and fraud.
“On October 28, 2022, according to the complaint, he ran over a person named Leonardo Godoy. He hit him on the street and told him he was going to hire a lawyer to facilitate everything”, they reported on Desayuno Americano (América TV) and added that the lawyer he mentioned did not actually have that profession.
Time passed, the victim tried to contact Abel Ayala and the alleged lawyer and believes they lied to him and kept giving him the runaround “so that he couldn’t file any kind of legal complaint and the case could be prescribed,” they reported on the program hosted by Pamela David.
“Desayuno Americano” was at the scene of the events alongside the complainant in the Moreno area, in the province of Buenos Aires.
“I recognized him right away. He was coming from over there, I on my new 125 NS motorcycle, from Rubén Darío. I thought he would pass by, that he wouldn’t cross my path because he didn’t give me a signal. There was no time for anything, I hit the step of the 4×4 truck and ended up on the ground. He told me to stay calm and not to move. I felt sleepy because I hit my foot, my hip, and my head, and my helmet broke”, recounted Leonardo.
He detailed: “He told me everything would be fine, to trust him. The ambulance came and they brought the bike inside here (points to the gated community where the actor lives) because at that moment there was time for my relatives to come.”
“He told me not to get involved in anything, that the important thing was my health and that he would take care of everything. He said he knew a very good lawyer and introduced me to Matías Romero, from here in Moreno,” he added.
Leonardo spoke about the injuries he suffered: “I broke my tibia, fractured my knee and ankle. I had a strong hit on my hip which is what is bothering me the most now. I stayed in the hospital until the next day.”
“I had insurance. He told me to leave everything in his hands, that supposedly the lawyer was going to handle everything, that I shouldn’t do anything. I know his life story, I watched all his episodes and wholeheartedly, I let myself be carried away,” he stated.
