Abeer Ali, player of the Chess and Culture Club for Girls in Sharjah, raised her international ranking to 94.4 points, following she won 6 points, and the 20th place in the competitions of the Bell International Chess Championship, which was held in Switzerland, with the participation of 143 players from different countries of the world. The best player in the tournament, which is one of the most important and largest world championships in the game, especially in terms of participants and their international classification.
Abeer Ali expressed her happiness with her international participation and the high international ranking, stressing that she will continue to work to obtain better positions, in the various upcoming participations, in light of the great support of the club’s management, noting that the competition came very strong from all participants, especially those with great experience. However, in the end, it achieved many positive gains, which will have a role in improving the level during the coming period.
For her part, Alia Ali Al Mazmi, head of the club’s technical committee, confirmed her happiness with the player’s achievement and her contact with the players, who have great technical expertise in the world.
She indicated that the club is always keen to support its players, and to provide all positive things that improve their technical level and creative abilities, in order to win more championships, pointing out that Abeer Ali has provided a positive model for the club’s players, and we will work to develop their technical capabilities during the coming period.
