H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Jeong Wei-yong, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Korea, at the headquarters of Expo 2020 Dubai.
During the meeting, they discussed friendship relations and the special strategic partnership between the UAE and the Republic of South Korea, in addition to ways to enhance prospects for joint cooperation in all fields.
The two sides also discussed a number of issues of common interest and regional and international developments.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Jeong Wei-yong’s visit, stressing that the UAE and the friendly Republic of South Korea have special strategic relations and a distinguished partnership that has yielded many achievements in all fields.
His Highness pointed out the keenness to enhance joint cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of South Korea at various levels, in order to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of South Korea.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, also received Frederick Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bahamas.
During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of Expo 2020 Dubai, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields, as well as issues of common interest.
The two sides reviewed the participation of the Bahamas in Expo 2020 Dubai and the role of this prominent global event in exploring broader horizons for bilateral cooperation between the two countries and strengthening international efforts to achieve sustainable development in societies.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Frederick Mitchell’s visit, stressing the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and the keenness to strengthen them in many areas.
For his part, Frederick Mitchell expressed his country’s aspiration to strengthen its bilateral relations with the UAE in various fields, praising the country’s leading position at the regional and international levels.
