Al-Marsad newspaper: Mashhour Sanaab Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi interviewed the camel owner, Rasha Al-Qurashi, who had previously promised to return from Riyadh to Jeddah on the back of her camel, following losing the camel races within the competitions of the sixth edition of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival.

In the clip shared by “Al-Mutairi” via “Tik Tok”, “Al-Qurashi” explained the secret of her love for camels, noting that they are “Qurashi” and that the love of camels is in the blood of the women of Quraysh, and referring to the hadith of the Prophet: “The best women who ride camels are the women of Quraysh.”

Al-Qurashi stressed that its people are well-known in camel races, and that they have always won the first places for 50 years in these races, the last of which is the Taif race, and also in the Crown Prince Festival.

She explained that the journey that she took in the event of her loss was called “the journey of the girl of Quraish”, explaining in the clip: I vowed that if I did not take first place, I would return the Hijaz on the back of the she-camel and the girl of the men died of her vow.
